If you have any symptoms which may be indicative of the covid-19 virus, you must NOT attend for your appointment. Please call the surgery and we can rearrange after following all government guidelines on self isolating.

“I have a cold should I come for my appointment?”

If you feel well enough to come please do so, but it is entirely dependent on how you feel on the day. Please do not hesitate to contact our reception team for advice.

“I have a cold sore should I come for my appointment?”

Cold sores are highly infectious so if you have a cold sore it is best to phone and rearrange your appointment.

“I did not get a text message to remind me that I have an appointment?”

We use the text message service as a courtesy to our patients. The service occasionally has glitches which are out with our control. Please make sure we have an up to date contact number for this service, ask at reception at your next appointment.

“I have been having problems with a tooth however I am coming in for a check-up soon – should I just wait?”

We do hold emergency spaces each day so please if you can, don’t wait until your check up as this is a short appointment and treatment may not be possible that day.
